The three main pillars of the Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) Group in running the Polyester business are in Asia, Europe and North America, with 5 (five) production bases in Japan (Santo/Nagahama Plant, Shiga Prefecture), Germany (Wiesbaden), USA (South Carolina), Indonesia (Cilegon, Banten Province) and China (Shuzou city and Wuxi city, Jiangsu Province), where Polyester film is produced and distributed worldwide. Therefore, PT MC PET Film Indonesia (MFI) is a very important part, to be the only representative of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) Group in Indonesia in the field of Polyester Film.

PT MC PET Film Indonesia (MFI) produces PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) resin processing into PET Film which is used in industrial fields such as electrical (electrical equipment), magnetic media and imaging.

PT MC PET Film Indonesia (MFI) also produces PE (Polyethylene) Film, a micro-porous film product that can pass moist air but retain water. This product is used as a base sheet for hygienic materials such as diapers.

MFI products have high quality so that they are able to meet the demands of the international market to Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and also the United States.
