Mitsubishi Chemical Group Indonesia Holds 500 Mass Vaccines and Assists PPE for the Cilegon City Government in the Context of Prevention and Control of Covid-19

Mitsubishi Chemical Group Indonesia through PT Mitsubishi Chemical Indonesia (MCCI) and PT MC PET Film Indonesia (MFI) also contributes to the people of Cilegon City through the Corporate Social Responsibility Program by providing mass vaccines for 500 residents of Grogol District, as well as providing assistance in the form of PPE to the Department of Home Affairs. Cilegon City Health Center and Grogol Health Center.
The mass vaccination activity was carried out on Sunday, August 29, 2021 and the symbolic handover of PPE assistance was attended directly by the Mayor of Cilegon, Heldy Agustian at the Grogol District Office, Cilegon City.
Although the Cilegon City government has routinely held vaccinations every week to the community, there are still many people who have not been reached due to limited access to online registration. Realizing this, Mitsubishi Chemical Group Indonesia chose to open registration manually in order to reach community groups who may still have difficulty with the online system.
With this manual vaccination registration method, Mitsubishi Chemical Group Indonesia works closely with the Grogol District, Rawa Arum Village, Gerem, Grogol and Sari City and is assisted by the Grogol Health Center. Not to forget the security and order team was also fully assisted by the Grogol Sector Police and also the Grogol Koramil to provide security and comfort during the event.
The Mayor of Cilegon gave a very high appreciation to the Mitsubishi Chemical Group which consists of PT Mitsubishi Chemical Indonesia and PT MC PET Film Indonesia for the assistance that has been given so far, which is not the only time. Previously, Mitsubishi Chemical Group Indonesia had distributed PPE and multivitamin aid packages to the Banten Provincial Health Office, Cilegon City Government, Cilegon City Health Office, Grogol Health Center and also the Gerem Village community as the company's Ring I area. Even in the previous few days, Mitsubishi Chemical Group Indonesia had also provided PPE equipment aid packages to the community through the Banten Province Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans).
Public interest is very high for this program launched by the Mitsubishi Chemical Group Indonesia. Vaccination activities became very interesting because of the prizes promised by the company for those who were successfully vaccinated. And sure enough, for those who were successfully vaccinated, they would return home with 5kg of quality rice from local Cilegon farmers.
Various PPE such as hazmat, medical aron, medical mask, N95 mask, handscoon, facashield, oximeter, oxygen cylinder and others are indeed basic needs for medical personnel both at the Cilegon City Health Office and Grogol Health Center in providing health services to the surrounding community.
